A cool roof is a roofing system designed to reflect more sunlight and absorb less heat than a standard roof. Reflective Cool Roof Coatings

One of the most common solutions for existing roofs that are in good condition is a reflective cool roof coating. Spray or roller-applied elastomeric or acrylic roof coatings can be added to many existing roof types to instantly boosting solar reflectance without a full tear-off. However, coating isn't appropriate for all roofing materials.
